Another Tale from Vietnam.

Assistant Attorney General Richard R. Hine possesses a precise recollection of Attorney General Richard Blumenthal claiming to have served in Vietnam.  Hine shares his letter with George Gombossy here.

This emotional incident occurred nearly 20 years ago, suggesting that Blumenthal’s been playing this nutty game for a lot of innings.  It must be unsettling for Blumenthal, the Democratic nominee for the United States Senate, and his team to wonder how many other compelling witnesses to his repeated infamies are out there.

A salute to Mr. Hine, who contributed $1,000 to Senator Christopher Dodd’s re-election campaign last fall, for speaking out about his boss.  Silence would allow for a quieter life.  One suspects he may be receiving the discreet support of many colleagues.
