April Showers: MacMahon Put Another $2 Million into Campaign.

Wrestling mogul Linda McMahon dropped another $2 million into her United States Senate campaign in April, according to her pre-convention filing with the Federal Elections Commission.  That brings her investment to, brace yourself, $16,000,000.00 before a single delegate casts a vote.  As of April 30th, the Greenwich Republican’s campaign had $1,968,939.42 in the bank.  McMahon is on course to make good on her early pledge to spend $50 million from her fortune to become the first Connecticut registered Republican since 1982 to win a seat in the Senate.
