Boffo Box Office for Senate Debate Tix

Tickets for the October 4th United States Senate debate between Democrat Richard Blumenthal and Republican Linda McMahon went fast this morning when they were made available to the public.

Many voters were so enthusiastic about the upcoming event that they hired a bus and arrived at the Bushnell together to get in line for tickets available there.  The debate is at the Bushnell, and sponsors made tickets for the public available at a few venues in the region, including the Bushnell.  The voters who came by bus were disappointed to learn that there were no tickets left by the time they reached the front of the box office line.

That appears to have prompted a Blumenthal supporter to tweet about McMahon supporters getting in line before the passengers on the Blumenthal bus:

Glenniebun: McMahon people grabbed all tickets for debate with Blumenthal; Dem supporters can’t get in. Pretty low tactics. How afraid are they?

Probably not very afraid if they can beat the Blumenthal people at a game Connecticut Democrats usually win.

Morning coffee: ~$2.50
Chartered bus: ~$10/person
Feeling of shame upon arriving too late to get a ticket: Priceless

Looks like your typical Union Rent a Mob

Strange, a bus load of people come to get tickets, not organized at all are they…sounds like shades of ACORN or Union.

I can only imagine the people climbing aboard the bus to support Dick Blumenthal. These are the same people who intimidate other voters, and support crooks like Christopher Dodd.
