Demonstrators Give McMahon a Boost.

Republican Senate hopeful Linda McMahon passes a milestone today.  She’s got demonstrators outside her West Hartford campaign office hollerin’ about AIG and Chris Dodd.  No wait, not Chris Dodd, the financial industry’s favorite senator.  They’re in a state about the prospects for an overhaul of the financial system.  The bill is being negotiated in secret, but the demonstrators are all for it because, Linda McMahon, “Wall Street greed has got to go!”

Let’s see, who was it who said in October 2008 that our founders and forefathers would have supported the $750 billion bailout of the financial industry?  That was Chris Dodd, whose office is a few miles from McMahon’s. Goldman Sachs and AIG were the big winners in that legislation.
