Esty: We Don’t Read No Stinkin’ Bloggers.

It is simply not done. Reading blogs, that is. So says Mrs. Thurston Esty, III.  The Democratic nominee for the open seat in the Fifth Congressional District told Face the State host Dennis House on Thursday that she has not read the blogs for months and months. House asked Esty to comment on a quote from My Left Nutmeg, comparing her to Pinnocchio and that pesky nose that would grow whenever he told a lie. Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Cheshire, knew nothing of it. She does not read blogs. They’re so NOCD.

She is, however, awfully worried about children who grow too much over the summer and require new clothes in the fall. Do you know, properly outfitting a child can be expensive, according to the woman who poured $500,000 of her own money into her campaign as the August 14th primary drew near.

The fall campaign has taken an unexpected turn in its first few days. Republican Andrew Roraback is off to an early lead in the common touch stakes.
