Perhaps Martha is frustrated, as the rest of us are. I’m not voting on personality, I voting on a person who shares values and beliefs. This is not a race for prom queen, it’s a race for the soul of our republic. Words are hollow, especially when they are used at election time, action and past performance mean everything. In this category, Martha Dean is the superior candidate.

In the category of making enemies out of friends, Garber–who’s smart enough to know better–did a pretty good job of it when he equated an NRA-sponsored firearms safety program to arming schoolchildren. If there’s one group you don’t want to alienate in a Republican primary (in August, no less) it’s gun owners. However many small mistakes Dean might make, I believe Garber has already done himself in with one big mistake.
