Yet I remember in a previous posts you were wrong about who was attempting to qualify for public financing on the state wide ticket (congratulations to Jerry Farrell who qualified this past week). You were wrong about the court rulings regarding the Foley lawsuit.

And Doug, I still see you’re not willing to definitively answer that Fedele will win the primary because you know he won’t. All you can say is “he better” and if he doesn’t, you’ll blame Foley and his supporters if Foley is unsuccessful in November. And knowing you the way I do, you’ll be talking about it until the day you die. This is standard operating procedure with you when you back losers and not being a team player in the bigger scope of party politics.

Consider the quote of the day. Foley now says that he was an investor not “company operator”. That from a man who took about $20 million in “management fees” from the Bibb Manufacturing Company as it was sliding into bankruptcy. If he was just an investor why was he paid $20 million in management fees? Does anyone seriously believe his latest spin. (I expect that by sun up tomorrow Foley will be claiming he was misquoted).

Alas, Tom Foley’s credibility is shot. He is unelectable in November.

It remains to be seen whether Fedele’s lack luster campaign can take advantage of this opportunity.

He’d better, because I don’t see the guy with the Bentley crossing the finish line first come November.

Nor do I see how running someone who fulfills the Democrats stereotype of rich-country-club-republican can strengthen our base, quite the contrary in fact.
