The Last Absentee in Recount: Trinks! Canty and McGee Remain Tied. Judge Orders New Election.
The last ballot in the 5th Assembly District has been ordered opened by Judge Susan Peck. It was cast for third place finisher Windsor mayor Donald Trinks. Therefore, the vote from the August 14th Democratic primary remains tied.
Judge Peck has concluded the day by ordering a new primary election.
