The University of Connecticut Poll Sample Electorate.

Polls will vary, but the University of Connecticut/Hartford Courant survey of the race for the U.S. Senate between Democrat Christopher Murphy and Republican Linda McMahon features an unusual makeup of likely voters. Its universe of 511 voters has 51.4% Democrats, 25% Republicans, 18% Unaffiliated, and 2% others. That suggests the largest group of registered voters, those who do not belong to a party, will have a strikingly low turnout in this presidential election year.
