The Courant’s Jon Lender unveils another Richard Blumenthal military service embellishment. This one was in print 19 years ago in his last Martindale-Hubbell listing before he become attorney general.
Starla Romash adds an additional perplexing angle to the Blumenthal saga. She says he’s answered these questions. The listing in the guide to lawyers is a new development, and Blumenthal refused to talk about it and answer questions. For more than 30 years, Blumenthal has never been reluctant to talk to and seek out reporters. This shelling has sent him into his foxhole, which is not an easy place to run a campaign.

Before he ‘misspoke’ about his service. Now, he ‘mis-wrote’ about it. And he can’t take the withering questions from the much-feared Torrington Rotarians. AG Blumenthal is a career politician who lives in the same self-centered world as SOS Bysiewicz.
