Wilson Foley Trips on Rowland Again.

Republican Lisa Wilson Foley’s tangled relationship with disgraced former Governor John G. Rowland who worked on volunteered for her campaign while being paid as a consultant to a law firm that did work for her family nursing home business. The Simsbury Republican this week criticized state Senator Andrew Roraback, the party-endorsed candidate in their 5th District primary contest, over a 2002 vote to increase taxes. The problem for Wilson Foley is that the tax hike was rammed through the Democratic legislature by Rowland, upon whom Wilson Foley continues to lavish praise.

Add this to the list of quarrels Republican primary voters have with Wilson Foley. First among them is her support for Democratic U.S. Representative Christopher Murphy in his 2006 and 2008 campaigns for the seat she now seeks.
