Catherine Marx Upbeat on Day of GOP Vote.
Hebron’s Catherine Marx has run the steadiest race in the zigzagging contest to lead the state’s Republican organization. She remained in the contest when others buckled and fled. She may reap a reward for persistence tonight, though committee members in both parties can be notorious slippery committing and casting votes.
Marx said this morning, ” I have run a solid campaign with a base of support that is strong. No matter what the outcome; Connecticut Republicans need to move forward together. One party rule in our State will not serve any of us well.”
Republican operative Bill Cortese will be on the scene and Twittering. If you aren’t one his followers, sign up here.
