What advantage could there be for the people of Connecticut to have Senator Richard Blumenthal offering himself for as much as $5,000 for a sponsorship tonight on behalf of the Green Mountain PAC? The event takes place at Carmine’s in our nation’s capital.

Now that he’s been Washingtonized, one of the Senate’s richest members is offering himself to them for the price of a  wildy expensive dinner. So often it is only a matter of finding out their price, not if they have one. “Special Guest” is such an antiseptic phrase for what the righteous one is doing.
