Aniskovich Sniffing Around GOP Chairman Race.

William Aniskovich, who threw away his shoreline state Senate seat in 2004, is considering a run to become head of the Connecticut Republican State Central Committee.  Aniskovich, of Branford, served 7 terms in the state senate and was seeking an 8th when he learned it’s hard to campaign from Paris.  He had been laying the groundwork for a 2006 bid for governor. Aniskovich was a last ditch defender of corrupt governor John G. Rowland in 2004.

Aniskovich is the managing director and CEO of the Stonington Institute, a substance abuse facility in North Stonington.
