Another Poll Finds Foley Closing on Malloy.

That enormous Tom Foley battle bus must be reverberating with cheers today.  A third poll of the day shows the Greenwich Republican a few points behind frontrunner Dan Malloy. This time it’s Fox News, which finds Malloy’s lead over Foley down to 3 points.

It also finds Democrat Blumenthal leading Republican McMahon by 11 points.

Daily Ructions will consult some local oracles to discover what they think is the source of the steady Foley gains.

Malloy will win by a nose, causing bitter disappointment for Mr. Foley.

Tom Foley still needs to fully explain his arrests, to my satisfaction.

Tom Foley still also needs to come clean on the federal security “errors,” and the cold facts about his massive layoffs and Bibb Bankruptcy.

A corporate raider as Governor? Not hardly.

Plus, don’t you find it ridiculous and stunningly egotistic that a man would blow $10 Million of his own money like this? That plus the 116 foot yacht are truly OBSCENE DISPLAYS OF CONSPICUOUS WEALTH that he should not be rubbing in everybody’s faces who are not as fortunate as him. And that means 95% of the voting people in CT.

Malloy is both skilled and dedicated as a public servant. Foley would just mean deadlock and inaction.

I was undecided. Now I feel Malloy is the better choice of the two.

When did Foley rub the size of his yacht in people’s faces? Did I miss that ad?

Ah Ben (Roy O.) why don’t you go back to your spastic boss and lick a few more envelopes..

Let me be very clear, I will speak government gibberish until your eyes fall out of your head, and your ears are ringing.

Finally, I have not made any deals with the unions except the document that I signed saying that I will not lay anyone off..

God help us if Malloy wins.

Ben H was never undecided. He has always been onboard with Malloy, a mean, angry and scary man who is so in the pockets of organized labor it is almost unbelievable. We need a “take no prisoners” kind of governor to deal with this mess. Foley has my vote.

Foley is the wrong choice. He has some deep-seated fundamental character flaws that make him unfit to be a Governor.

Tom Foley and a “take no prisoners” approach will create dysfunctional stalemates and wars with the Legislature. Malloy will find ways to work with all of the various factions.

Tom Foley will forever be explaining-away his arrests, the huge Bibb layoffs, and lots of other negative karma. Dan Malloy is a proven and dedicated servant of the public.

Tom Foley appears quite likely to have ambitions on Washington DC versus fixing Connecticut. Dan Malloy appears to have a laser focus on fixing things in Connecticut.

Malloy: the clear choice.

NOTE: I am not a political operative! But I have deep and serious mistrust for Mr. Foley.
