Bernier Fights on into Primary

Plainville Republican Justin Bernier announced today he will proceed to an August primary against the party-endorsed candidate, state Senator Sam Caligiuri, for the Republican nomination for Congress from Connecticut’s 5th district.

Candidates who failed to win their party’s endorsement last weekend will be spending the next several days canvassing supporters on the way ahead.  Qualifying for a primary does not always lead to one.
