Boughton Exploratory Committee Reports Raising $14,545.

Danbury’s Mark Boughton is off to a slow start in his exploratory bid for governor. The mayor and former legislator found 116 donors to make an average donation of $125. The maximum allowed under the state’s complicated public financing scheme is $375 for candidates who are exploring a bid.

Boughton is also raising money for his Danbury re-election campaign for this fall’s election.

Explore Team Boughton had $10,571.43 on hand when the third quarter reporting period ended on September 30th.
