David Walker’s Christmas List.

Former United States Comptroller General David Walker is shopping himself around for the 2014 Republican nomination for lieutenant governor, Daily Ructions has learned.  Walker has been a looming presence in Connecticut Republican politics for a couple of years.

In the spirit of Christmas, let’s say that Walker has so far made a variety of impressions on state Republicans as he seeks to become a force in the troubled party. The town committee and party fundraising circuits are very different from the sort of places Walker has spent his career.  Maybe induction into the Accounting Hall of Fame will prove to have an unexpected attraction for delegates and voters.
