Elizabeth Taylor (1932-2011)

Elizabeth Taylor was an icon of the American century.  She won two Oscars, shaped our notions of beauty, delivered a United States Senate seat to Virginia Republican John Warner, made much of her fortune in the perfume trade, and performed a lifetime of good works along the way.
