Fedele Has a Plan.

Lieutenant Governor Michael Fedele, a Republican hopeful for governor, will announce his plan for Connecticut’s dire finances today at noon.  He’s expected to present some policies that either are at variance with the Rell administration or were raised but  not pursued by her.  The plan for Connecticut will likely have state employee union leaders howling.

This will be Fedele’s opportunity to show that he’s more conversant with the state budget than Republican frontrunner Tom Foley, the self-financing candidate from Greenwich.  Fedele’s 11 a.m. press conference has been moved to noon in order not to conflict with Q-Poll guru Doug Schwartz’s 11 a.m. appearance at the Capitol.  Fedele’s people know what would win in those battling talking events.
