Foley Loses Again.
The Supreme Court of Connecticut denied Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Foley’s action to stop rival Michael Fedele from getting more than $2 million in public funds for his campaign.

I guess the Foley campaign should stop taking its legal advice from EdMfrombranford.
Did they loose the actual appeal from the lower court or just a request for an injunction?
My initial information was only on the TRO.
Hmmm….I wonder what will happen if most of the money is spent when they rule on the actual appeal, and they rule in Foley’s favor? Would they just say oops, the money is gone, but it should have never been granted, sorry.
They might say, “Oops, it was a mistake to send it but not to spend it.”
Well I guess we will just have to wait and see what they rule.

The Supreme Court didn’t issue a TRO but did agree to hear the case soon, hopefully within the next few days.
They’re not taking legal advice from me, but they’re doing everything that anyone should do in their position.

It doesn’t matter Ed. As Bart Halloran said, the money’s spent. The TRO was everything. There will be nothing left of the money Mike was given but a few pieces of lint and a quarter by the time the Supreme Court actually reviews this, if they ever do.

You’re right fuzzy, I’m sure Foley will have all the money spent. The problem here isn’t Mike Fedele, it’s the SEEC. Honestly, if I were Fedele, I would have had all spent in 24 hours too. I say good for him.
Many people are failing to see the point here, this isn’t Tom Foley suing Mike Fedele, it’s Tom Foley filing complaints in court against the actions of the SEEC who thinks they can make up law all on their own and in the case of the appeal, it’s appealing a decision by a Superior Court judge who can’t read English, 9709(a).
I think very few people thought the State Supreme Court would overturn the judge who said it was okay for Susan Bysiewicz to run for AG.

You are bought and paid for by Foley like every other supporter. Donations to Town Committee’s, Candidates, State Central, have paved the way for Foley and bought people like you.
But after watching tonight’s debate, none of the Republican’s are ready for Dan Malloy. He will chew them up and spit them out. Especially Foley..

Yes, I’m a supporter and I will vote for him in the primary because I think he’;s the best candidate. Once again, your insistence on repeating your lies make you look like an ass. Where is it that I “knew about the injunction before it was filed?” Once again, you are nothing but a bald faced liar.
No one “bought” me or pays me anything for supporting candidates. Should I say you’re “bought and paid for” by Dan Malloy? By the way, Malloy has to win his primary against Ned Lamont first or did you forget about that?

I found it quite odd that Mr. Rennie never responded to your comment to back you up. So I sent him an email asking him if he could confirm your claim.
