Foley Marks Steinbrenner Death: Plays More Hardball With Fedele.
Republican candidate for governor Tom Foley is showcasing a taste for litigation. He’s appealed today’s Superior Court decision denying his action for a temporary restraining order against opponent Michael Fedele in their bitter struggle over public funds for Fedele’s campaign.
Foley filed an expedited appeal with the state’s Supreme Court, seeking a temporary restraining order from the high court. The appeal is not automatic. The court has discretion on whether or not to take up Foley’s claim. Fedele might have sent his taxpayer millions to television stations and mail houses before the sun sets today. He’d better hurry. Foley pointed out in a recent statement that he’s persistent in the filing of motions in litigation.

Kevin, how much you wanna bet they won’t take it up? I’m just guessing here but I think they will.
I bet the money’s been spent — They ran their commercial about 6 times between 6 and 7 during this mornings news on channel 3.
I wonder how they spent their money for ads this morning (July 13th) when they promised in court on Monday they wouldn’t spend any of the public money until AFTER the judge ruled which was at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 13th?
