Himes: .6% of First Day Visitors Applied for Coverage on CT Exchange Site.

Not the sort of return that would spell success at Goldman Sachs. Investment banker alum and U.S. Representative Jim Himes (D-CT) tweeted Tuesday that the first day on the Connecticut health insurance exchange recorded 28,000 visitors and 167 applications.

If that low ratio of applications to visitors continues, the Connecticut exchange may want to invoke its soiled crisis communications contract to explain the numbers.
