Justin Bernier Snags State Senator’s Endorsement in 5th District Contest.

Freshman Republican state Senator Jason Welch is supporting constituent Justin Bernier’s bid for Congress in the 5th District.  Welch represents the 5th District towns of Harwinton, Plainville and Plymouth.  Bernier lives in Plainville.

In a press release issued Thursday morning, Welch declares, “Connecticut needs a voice in congress for a balanced budget amendment and real economic growth. It takes leadership to achieve these goals and that’s why I’m supporting Justin Bernier for U.S. Congress.”
