Lisa Wilson-Foley Names Co-Chairs. Witkos, Carter and Henry to Lead 5th District Campaign.

Simsbury Republican Lisa Wilson-Foley has named state Senator Kevin Witkos, state Representative Dan Carter, and Roxbury First Selectman Barbara Henry to lead her campaign in the 41-town district.  Witkos represents communities in the eastern end of the district, including Simsbury.  Carter represents Bethel, Redding and part of Danbury in the western portion of the district. Roxbury is in leafy Litchfield County.

Seven of the 14 members of the Senate Republican caucus represent towns in the 5th. Witkos is the first to endorse a candidate.
