Money will never be a problem for Simsbury’s Lisa Wilson-Foley. She’s begun her campaign for the Republican nomination for Congress in the Connecticut’s 5th District that she’s got access to plenty of cha-ching. The wife of colorful nursing home mogul Brian Foley declared a fundraising haul of just over $200,000 in the fundraising quarter that concluded on June 30th. Details of where she collected the dough will be available when the 2010 lieutenant governor hopeful who lost in a statewide primary to Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton last August.
Wilson-Foley faces Justin Bernier, Mike Clark, and Mark Greenberg in the contest for the GOP nomination in the open seat.
