Malloy Once Saw Red Over Blue Flu.
Democratic and Working Families Governor Dannel P. Malloy did not always champion the rights of government workers and their tactics. Connecticut’s governor of 7 weeks has been seeking every available forum to announce his support of union demonstrators in Wisconsin. However, when Malloy served as mayor of Stamford, the police went without a contract for more than a year. In 2006, officers were felled as the blue flu infected some frustrated members of the Stamford police. Malloy’s infuriated administration penalized the union $90,000 and took away vacation days from the blu flu-stricken officers.
Good thing for Wisconsin’s demonstrating teachers that Malloy isn’t the boss of that school system.
