Mighty Hank Sheinkopf Advising Newcomer Mike Williams in Congressional Bid.
Democrat Mike Williams’s campaign for the Congress in Connecticut’s 5th district is enjoying the advice of New York political and communications consultant Hank Sheinkopf. Politico last year hailed Sheinkopf as “a veteran of political jujitsu and tough campaigns.”
Says Williams in a statement to Daily Ructions:
“I am thrilled that Hank Sheinkopf is investing his time, energy and talents into my campaign. Hank and I both want to get Americans back to work and to move our country forward. This common goal has created a strong relationship and his experience has been invaluable to me as I work to engage the people of the fifth district for their support.
Mr. Sheinkopf and his team work with me and my campaign manager to help us distill the essence of policy for the voting public, making sure my message is clear and informative. Hank and I believe in good ideas and transparency. I want the voters to know exactly what I will do for the fifth district and how I plan to bring jobs to Connecticut and get our economy moving again. Hank is critical in assisting me to achieve this goal.”
Williams campaign manager Calvin Walsh adds that the campaign has not entered into “any formal discussions as to pay or signed any contract just yet but I envision Sheinkopf will continue to play a large role and our professional relationship will become more concrete as the campaign progresses.”
Pay and a signed contract will hinge on whether Williams can raise enough money to hire Sheinkopf. If he does, Williams will have increased his chance of snagging a spot at the front of the pack in the intense competition in the 5th.

Glad to see that another rich interloper is importing hired guns trying to tell voters in CT what’s best for them.
why do people always associate quality with wealth? college lecturers do not make enough money to be considered “wealthy.” If Mike made that kind of money, I daresay he’d be a Republican. “Interloper” is not applicable here either. Just because he has degrees from places overseas does not mean he isn’t American. In fact, an international education and work abroad is exactly what America needs to stay competitive in this global economy. Mike’s a great guy, and he’s experienced in challenging global issues. Just because he isn’t arrogant to think he knows it all doesn’t mean he’s telling “voters in CT what’s best for them,” in fact it proves the opposite. His website further proves this, including a section where voters can contribute their own ideas on policy, with several posted for viewing. check it out, Mikewilliams2012.com.
