Mrs. McMahon Closing In, Says Rasmussen Poll.
What a change in the Connecticut United States Senate race from 2 weeks ago when Democrat Richard Blumenthal’s team was spinning a poll that said their man enjoys a 20 point lead over Republican Linda McMahon. That will be a harder case to make with today’s Rasmussen survey showing the wrestling diva trailing the 5-term attorney general by 5 points, 50-45. The poll includes leaners.
This will not go down well with Democratic regulars who have grown alarmed at Mr. Blumenthal’s sleepy campaign. With 5 weeks to go, the Blumenthal surge that his party boosters had expected to see by now, has yet to appear. The candidate who started the race with a 40 point lead in January has no margin for comfort in a volatile year when Republican voters are far more enthused than their Democratic counterparts, polling and reports on the ground agree.
Daily Ructions has been hearing reports from the field that party workers who are making traditional calls to registered Democrats for absentee ballot requests and lawn sign spots are meeting with long silences of the sort Republicans heard in 2006 and 2008.
The candidates meet in their first debate a week from tonight.

Putting Blumenthal, the confused “veteran” in office is installing nothing more than the same kind of career politician Dodd is. Uh, CT voters? Perhaps you never heard of Einstein’s definition of insanity….doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results? Vote for Blumenthal and that’s exactly what get…insanity.

No matter how many Washington insiders come to CT to hold Blumenthal’s hand, it is still a Ho-Hum campaign he is running. All he and his supporters do is repeat the mantra, “Blumenthal fights for the little guy.”
There are a lot of little people in CT who have felt the AG’s oppressive hand. Ask Susette Kelo’s former neighbors, from New London, how much Blumenthal fought for them. Ask the babies in the womb who have been brutally burned and had their limbs torn apart while alive how much Blumenthal has fought for them. Ask those housewives, fighting to end this medieval practice, what it is like to have Blumenthal harassing you in court for months.

In 2008 the charges against Ms. Malapanis were dismissed. As for the civil case, she refused to plead guilty and countersued the state for abusing its power and violating her constitutional rights. The jury, recoiling at the overly aggressive action that ruined her business, awarded her a whopping $18 million in January. In a handwritten note on court documents, the jury foreman said the state had engaged in a “pattern of conduct” that harmed Ms. Malapanis’s reputation, and cited the state’s press releases impugning her integrity, some of which came from Mr. Blumenthal. Mr. Blumenthal is appealing the decision.”
Why is Blumie filing a suit to revoke Perez’s pension? He thinks that may be he can convince the remaining few voters to vote for him !!!!! He wants to make sure that his final couple of press releases and lawsuits are filed before he is sent home by Linda.
Use your common sense folks when voting – If you believe Blumie who says “Law suits creates Jobs”, why do we have 9%+ unemployment in CT? Common, we all grew up watching WWE, it is nothing new! It is not appropriate just because news media and Blumie says so?
We need experience business person in the Senate. See what happened when we send inexperience person as our president?!!

Blumy should get to know “Marsha Coakley”…..campaigner-in-chief gave her the kiss of death too with 1,000 fabricated students at Northeastern while there were throngs 5,000 strong in Worchester shouting “Scott Brown”. Yeah, go back to Vietnam. Blumy’s theme song……: “and it’s 1-2-3 – what am I fighting for — don’t ask me I don’t give a da## — my next stop is Viet-naaam”. There is more dirt that will come out against him because he has ruined the business climate in this state the last 20 yrs with his “my lawsuits create jobs” mentality.
