New Haven Legislators Squeeze Lobbyists for Harp.

The New Haven delegation to the state legislature, all Democrats, have invited lobbyists to attend a fundraising event for state Senator Toni Harp’s mayoral campaign tonight.  The message is clear: while Harp will no longer be in the legislature if she wins in November, the rest of the delegation will, so pony up. Suggested contribution is $250 per person. Maximum is $1,000. Attendance will be taken.
