Paging Dr. Freud.
It’s another day of fundraising appeals as candidates hustle to deposit contributions on the last day of the quarter. Spouses and others are sending testimonials and requests to, as they say in Governor Rell’s office, pony up.
Young Chris Griebel, who’s been working on his father’s campaign for Republican governor, weighed in today. He writes in the penultimate paragraph of his appeal:
My Dad’s “aggressive encouragement,” as I called it, didn’t always make it easy being the coach’s son, but I am grateful for every lesson he imparted both on the field and off – and I know Connecticut voters will feel the same on Election Day.
We may need to find out more about “aggressive encouragement” before the August 10th Republican primary for governor.

I’d like to hear more about that “aggressive encouragement” too. It sounds like Oz has anger issues.
So sad. It seems you could be “sad” because you’ve never had an influential man like Oz Griebel in your life to positively influence you to be the best you could be.
Being a former athlete myself, I can strongly relate to the “aggressive encouragement” Chris Griebel speaks of in his appeal. While it may not always be comfortable, it is VERY necessary if one wishes to be successful in this world.
The last thing we need is a jock-type “coaching” mentality guy in the Governor’s office, that’s an apples/oranges comparison kinda like just because Roxanne Bubblebutt is the hottest stripper at the Electric Blue and uses her “aggressive encouragement” to collect the most tips for the evening, THAT would make her a great Governor for our state.

Ozzie couldn’t even get anyone to March with him at the Parade in Willimantic on July 4th. The Courant has a picture of him walking down the street all by himself while all the other campaigns who participated had armies of people.
Ozzie is living in a dreamworld that will all come crashing down on August 10th.
I wonder how his fund raising went last quarter and how little money he has on hand? We’ll all know by July 12th at the latest and be in for a good laugh.
