Snow White Soils Herself Again.

Republican Governor M. Jodi Rell tossed off her veil of virtue in an unusually public way when she allowed the lobbying firm of Sullivan and LeShane to front the cost of mailing hundreds of invitations to tonight’s fundraising event for the establishment of the Rell Center for (laugh track here) at the University of Hartford.  Rell has been very generous to the  private University of Hartford with millions of borrowed money that taxpayers will have to repay with interest.

The University of Hartford, it appears from Jon Lender’s Courant story, does not have the ability to execute a mailing of several hundred pieces of mail without all sort of internal maneuvering and planning.  Rell’s bunker is much more nimble.  What lessons they will teach the eager at UHa.  Her devoted coterie, using their own time, of course, cleared the way for lobbyists and state contractors to underwrite the ethics governor’s cash cull.
