Stop the Red Light Camera Bill.

Every citizen leery of the creeping heavy hand of government should read Jon Lender’s column on the expensive campaign to impose red light cameras around the state.  The thin edge of the wedge would start in 13 municipalities and, we know from experience, expand to the rest of the state.

In the bulging inventory of bad ideas making its way through this year’s legislative session, this is among the worst. It is about raising revenue and selling equipment for the companies that provide and maintain the equipment. It has nothing to do with making driving safer.

Updates as events continue to occur.

Yes, the State of Connecticut should install RED LIGHT CAMERAS in every area possible. This may get the message across to the CRAZY DRIVERS on our HIGHWAYS to start OBEYING the MOTOR VEHICLE LAWS of CONNECTICUT ! Also DRIVING with a LICENSE is a PRIVILEGE, not a RIGHT !
