There She Goes Again. Bysiewicz Misstates Another Endorsement.
Democrat Clifford Nelson has not been chairman of his town committee for about the last 5 years. He’s listed, however, as the chair of the Broad Brook DTC in Thursday’s Susan Bysiewicz endorsement rollout of her U.S. Senate candidacy. Broad Brook, however, has no town committee. It’s a section of East Windsor. These are the sorts of, to be charitable, errors that people in politics notice. They start to think that a candidate is padding her announcements and hoping the list of supporters will be long enough no one will notice the clangers. Once discovered, it’s puffery easily deflated.
If it becomes a pattern, it takes a toll on a candidate’s credibility. When the crunch arrives and she needs people to believe her, they may not.

See, this is why it was so helpful to keep that handy list at the Sec of State’s office.
Mr. Rennie points up Susan Bysiewicz’s chief flaw. She is imprecise, impatient and never learns from her mistakes. It is so sad to see these errors over and over. We are blessed she did not become Governor Bysiewicz. Susan should accept she is unfit for service and return to her private practice in law. Oh, wait, we already covered that. I’m starting to take Mr. Rennie more seriously as our next Senator.
