Vote in Sweet 2016 Poll. Malloy Not Included in Washington Post Presidential Contest. Teeth Grinding in Hartford.

The Washington Post’s indispensable Chris Cillizza, like many others, sets his gaze on the 2016 presidential contest. You can vote in the first round until 7 p.m. tonight. For the Democrats, it’s Andrew Cuomo v. Brian Schweitzer. (A governor of a state with more bison than people? Democrats disdain such candidates–when they’re Republicans.) First round for Republicans features a match between Marco Rubio and Rand Paul.
There will be frowns in the office of world-travelling Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy. Decamping to Hollywood, Salt Lake City, New York, Washington, and Davos has not raised the ambitious 1st term governor’s reputation higher than the governor of Montana’s in the fickle world of Washington punditry. If only Chris Cillizza had gone to that Swiss gab fest–Malloy would have had someone to talk to other than Catherine Smith and the Estys, who can get on your nerves.
