Washington Crossing Delaware Updated

The Hessians in Trenton awoke this morning 237 years ago to discover themselves facing a blizzard and George Washington’s brave troops. The Battle of Trenton remains one of the most important days in history of freedom. Artist Mort Kunstler recreated the legendary scene of Washington crossing the Delaware with more fealty to the harrowing conditions of that night than the famous and stirring 19th century Emanuel Leutz portrait.
